June 2022 Gillette Stadium
Monster Jam is the biggest Monster truck show. It’s one of the main U.S.A events that we have not done yet. They are stopping at Foxboro Gillette Stadium this June. Be ready for big cars and heavy noise!
The Event – Monster Jam:
First time for us in this kind of event. We don’t know what to expect, but we see a lot of people with noise protections so we assume it’s going to be loud. And this is loud! The show last about 1h30min, with one race and two freestyle contests. The cars are impressive, especially during high jumps or crashes.
The design of the cars is fun and everyone can pick his favorite. The ambiance in the stadium is great. This is a family-friendly event with a lot of children. The ticket prices are relatively affordable compared to any other event at the Gillette stadium (about 70 USD for a good seat). It’s also possible to access the cars before the show but we don’t purchase this extra.
We would not do that every week but we could certainly go back again.
The Booze – Tailgating and Gillette Stadium
As for any event in a football stadium, one of the best parts of the event is tailgating. Everyone meets in the parking with BBQ or drinks. As Europeans, this is new for us but we like it! If this is your first time as well be ready :)!
Inside the stadium, it’s possible to find some good beers. We have the happy surprise to find cans of Trillum and Exibit A at the Ale House (the price of the can is not a happy surprise). We try the Flume from battery Steele Brewing which is definitely a good choice.
