Second Wind Brewing
April 2023 – Dogs allowed – Around Boston about 1hr south.
Second Wind Brewing is one of the breweries participating to the “Four the shore” beer with Widowmaker, Vitamine Sea, and Untold. They have a small cute location in Plymouth which is a nice stop if you are visiting this area.
Brewery description and vibe
The brewery is located in the heart of Plymouth. It’s a microbrewery and the location looks more like a garage at the first glimpse. Coming inside you will have a small taproom with the beer production visible. The outside area is a little bit bigger and is perfect for sunny days. (It’s also equipped with heater). The brewery is not proposing food but is sharing a list of local partners that are delivering food to the brewery. The points that we like about this brewery is it’s small size which gives a more intimist experience and the street art on the outside seating area which help to create a more convivial atmosphere. (for more info please check their website)
Beers
Second Wind Brewing usually has about 13 beers or Hard Seltzer available on draft or to go. Their beer line-up is well balanced with a focus on New England IPA and a good variety of other beers (Irish Stout, Belgian-Style, Milk Stout, Hard Seltzer, fruited sours….). The overall quality is great with often some cool collaborations. For more info you can check the brewery ranking on Untappd here.
Activities around
If you like beaches you can enjoy some good one around Plymouth. We usually go to Plymouth Beach or Duxbury Beach for a walk. Plymouth is also a cute little city to visit with a lot of historical sites: Mayflower or Plymoth Patuxet Museums as example. Check our map below for the walks and the breweries locations.
