Trillium Canton is certainly one of the best tap room around Boston if you want to enjoy great beers and food. They are located close to Blue Hills which is perfect for a hike.

Brewery description and vibe

The Trillium team did an amazing work as always in the Canton location. The brewery is located in an industrial area and has large inside and outside areas. Inside the brewery you will find two huge wood pizza ovens with multiple types of seating: Bar (with TV to see games), restaurant, or just some sofas where you can hang out. Outside there is one main seating area with large tables and an outside tap. They also added chairs under the big tree of the field.

The restaurant is described as a farm to table, we tried multiple dishes and everything is great. We would especially recommend the ribs and the Pizza which are some of the best in Boston (sometime too salty for us as European but the dough is amazing). The food is usually only available inside at the restaurant and bar, if you want to enjoy the food outside you may have to order the pizza to go. (for more info please check their website)

Beers

Trillum if often recognize as one of the best brewery around Boston with Tree House. And we can only agree with that. The beer selection in Canton is very interesting with a lot of diversity. Between the drafts and the bottles the beer menu contains about 40 references. For the IPAs you will usually have beers brewed with different hops which allows you to taste the differences of flavors. If you don’t like IPAs or beers in general they are proposing the Daily Serving or Twice the Daily Serving. These fruited sours taste like smoothie and are very difficult to dislike.
