Widowmaker is brewing some of the best beers around Boston. Don’t be spooked by the name and come to try their beers. Also they are located close to Blue Hills which is perfect for a hike.

Brewery description and vibe

We have a specific attachment to Widowmaker Brewing in Braintree because this is where we had our first craft beers. The site is located in an industrial area, it has nice tap room where you can see the brewing process. Even if they are not in the best location for an outside area the team did their best to offer something cool. The site has no kitchen but has a food truck nearly every time they are open. Widowmaker brewing always offers a good variety of beers. The Blue Comet is their flagship IPA, this is a very good beer when you find it in a bar in Boston. In the taproom you will find even better propositions. We especially love all their New England IPAs (single, double, or tripple). If you are not into IPAs you should find few sours or pilsners.
